Steve, the Apex does perform better than earlier models of the BrailleNote, 
but it really does have a disappointing browser.  I think they would have 
come up with some software upgrades by now after almost three years, that 
would remedy some of the issues.  I don't concern myself too much because I 
fortunately have a PC as well so don't have to be constantly frustrated by 
the shortcomings of the Apex.  I guess I sound pretty hard on the Apex and 
in some ways I am.  However, I really also do love the braille display, 
email, and GPS available on it although that is an extra cost as well.  73,

I'm getting in late on this, and I don't know which version of the
BrailleNote you have.

I have a friend with an older Braillenote MPower running Keysoft 7 or
something.  On some websites, he has to use the program Skweezer to compress
the website as it is too large to load in the older Braillenotes.  I don't
think this problem exists with the newer Apex models though.
