Hello Group,

I invite you all to a new Net that will begin on Thursday nights at 7 p.m.
Central / 8 p.m. Eastern sponsored by Handi Ham: The Handi Ham TechNet!

The overall idea for this net is to engage all hams in participating openly
on a particular topic having to do with technology. You are all invited to
join me (KK4JZX) and others on this net. To discuss any topic that interest
you. We hope that our discussions will help many hams engage in a
roundtable discussion of interests that enhance ham radio for all to enjoy.

We hope to begin on the First Thursday of September. Please join me in
thanking Handi Hams for allowing this net to take place. I encourage you to
join us if you really want to have a good discussion on everything and
anything having to do with technology. My hope is that we can discuss any
technology related ideas. From "How can I change my dynamic IP Address in
Windows 7," to "What is the best antenna to use in my mobile rig?"

In addition, we will be asking for topic ideas for future discussion. Be
prepared to join a group that is made up of individuals that have
experiences in many areas of technology and life in general. Be prepared
to have discussions on the many aspects of Ham Radio from Spark transmitters
and vacuum tubes to the latest in digital communications. Be prepared to
have discussions on how to Setup Echolink and perhaps even setup a remote
base. Any and all topics related to technology are permitted.

Join me in preparing a list of topics that will make the TechNet a very
productive one. We know that you will gain something from every discussion.
We plan to have a focus on Ham radio for the Blind and visually impaired and
for others that may have some type of limitation. Since we all have certain
limitations in what we can do, our focus will be to make Ham radio
technology fun and engaging.

Feel free to contact me if you are interested in joining this Net and being
part of an idea that will make a difference in our community. Are you
ready? Join me!

Jose - KK4JZX
