I would imagine the shipping cost and repair costs combined would purchase you a nice LG auto tuner or some auto tuner and would be a more cost-effective option. I've read all these posts etc. on your HF issues and this unusual antenna. I do not claim to be an antenna expert, but I thought perhaps this snake antenna was more like snake oil antenna, where it may work, but at what cost. If this were my gear I'd be trying to find ways to ensure I do not let the smoke out of the box.
