Oh Colleen,
You are a breath of fresh air.
Oh for more Colleens in the ham community who try to help other hams, instead of tear them down.
You know folks, we have the same problem in the computer community.
I see it every day, those who don't know anything about computers, being totally degraded by technogeeks who know everything.
They, and also, some in the ham community, obviously forgotten where they came from, because at one time, they, themselves, didn't know anything about the hobby. As I tell everyone I work with in what I do, "there is no such thing as a dumb question."

  Hi Pat,
I think that if "to one needs an answer to a question we should try to answer it. Someday you might have a question you need help with too.
If you read all of the posts you would see that someone else didn't know how a rig they purchased was set up until they tried to use CW at a Field Day.
I think you are a little bit out of line. Person'y, I would hate to ask you a question.
I am not technical at all and even though I have been an Amatur Radio Operator for 20 years I wouldn't have known the answer to that question.
To be fair though I do not use my Vox or operate on CW.
However, I am very active in traffic handling, NCS for Ares and Skywarn, Operate as NCS for a Traffic Net on HF Phone and am a Net Manager for a Local Ares Traffic Net.
  We all have different abilities.
