Hi all,
Well folks, I'm finally on my anual vacation, no clocks to care about what time it is, do what I want kind of vacation!
Anyway, as all of you know, I'm trying to get back on the air on hf!
So many things to say!
I've been up all night, I'm so excited, antenna ideas in my head!
Anyway, after I get the rig and power supply up and running, time to put up the antenna on my 22 feet 5 inch balcony!
The antennas I'm trying will be the following:
1. First, I've got a ballon, and it's a wire ballon, so, I'll hook the coax up to the wire ballon, plugging it into the coax connecter on the ballon.
2. Next, I'm gonna hook up a piece of copper wire, to the wire post on the ballon, and get it outside, and throw the copper wire over the balcony, and let it swing in the breeze!
3. I'll then try to tune it with my mfj949E antenna tuner, listening for loudest noise to tune it.
Now I know you all like something more to tune it, like a noise bridge, right? Have any of you tryed the mfj noise bridges, that's all that's out there!
2. Now, if that antenna doesn't work, then, I'm gonna go with a snake antenna. It's just apiece of coax plugged into the antenna tuner and the other end will be hanging off my balcony!

2. More about it from a contester!

3. Now, if that antenna doesn't work, this antenna is incredible, the slinky antenna!

4. Now, if that antenna doesn't work, I'm getting a dipole that will fit on this 22 foot 5 inch balcony!

So, folks, give me your thoughts, whatever they may be!

73, and I'm going to bed for a few hours, if I can sleep, hi hi!

Trippy, ac8s
