who do use it.

Regarding interest in scanner receivers, you may be surprised at how many
hams are also comms monitors (or perhaps you won't be so surprised). if you
are interested, there is a list which has been recently started specifically
as a place for scanner hobbyists who are blind to gather and swap ideas,
info, etc. It is the "Monitoring Blind" list and you can send a blank email
