	Brand new, all I did was install the voice chip. Finally got around to 
having help with antennas and went to turn on the rig. Dead. We checked 
all the obvious things. Power is getting into the radio. Swapped the 
cable that connects the remote head to the tx/rx unit.

	I will have to contact Kenwood and see about sending it back in for 
warranty work. In the meantime, has anyone had this happen?
