Sounds like the antenna a local ham friend of mine put up at his
place. It's called an s-9. That's also a 31 foot fiberglass
telescopic mast that holds up a vertical wire. Jim WA6EKS.

Hi All
In May I put up a Gap Challenger vertical that operates on 75,
40, 20, 15,
12, 10, 6 and 2
meters. I live in an apartment that has a 10 by 16 foot fenced
patio.
The antenna is approx. 31 ft tall and seems to work wonderfully
well. Gap
also makes several other HF antennas.

Hi Eden,
Wow, a fenced in patio?
Is that a chain link fence?

we are kind of wanting one put together, and we have a
fenced in=20
patio so not very good for trees. I mean, there are woods
behind us,=20
but we realy can't go outside our patio.

The easiest way is if there are any trees, run a wire antenna, a

the trees. Trees give you a ton of options for any band
