Subject: Mic extension cable

Hi All:=20

Does anyone know of a source for mic extension cables? =20
I want to boom mount my MD-1B8 and I need a much longer cable to do it.=20=

Could I take my 4.5 feet of 3 conductor studio mic cable, plus the 2 8 =
pin round connectors, go into my local music store, show the pin out =
combination to a tech and have it wired correctly and working?=20
I just don't know if you can even buy 8 conductor cable for amateur =
radio use and if you could buy a 4 foot cable the type used on most =
mics, it would most likely be terribly expensive. =20
