Hi All:

Does anyone know of a source for mic extension cables?
I want to boom mount my MD-1B8 and I need a much longer cable to do it.
Could I take my 4.5 feet of 3 conductor studio mic cable, plus the 2 8 pin round connectors, go into my local music store, show the pin out combination to a tech and have it wired correctly and working?
I just don't know if you can even buy 8 conductor cable for amateur radio use and if you could buy a 4 foot cable the type used on most mics, it would most likely be terribly expensive.
