Hey ron,
Hey man, you're just like me, you don't stop till you get it done, no matter if it takes all night, right?
Oh yeah, I've been there and done that.
People would say to me, "Trippy, give it a rest, stop and take a break." I always tell them, "nope, I won't stop till it's done, fixed, found, etc.", so, my friend, you're not alone.
I guess that's type A, maybe there's type double A!

Subject: Re: Coaxial Flattop VS Double Bazooka
Mike,
The Coaxial Flat Top antenna and the Double Bazooka are almost the same.
The only difference is the length or portion of coax making up the center
of the antenna. I am trying to find the formulas to share with you for
each, but all I can find is the formual for the Double Bazooka. It has
been a long time since I built my last Coaxial Flat Top, but I believe the
length of coax making up the center of the Coaxial Flat Top is shorter,
making the extension wires on the two ends longer. However, it might be
the other way around. It just seems to me, from my recallection, the
Coaxial Flat Top was slightly more broadbanded.
Finding those formulas is going to drive me nuts until I find them! Yeah,
those of you who know me are probably saying... That will be a short
trip!! <lol>
Oh, Mike, tell me what I need to do to join ACB Radio Amatures; I know;
just pay my dues, but how much and pay to whom? What is the ACBRA website
URL?
