Thanks for the info about sending the rig back to Kenwood, you just saved me a bunch of problems.
I'll look at the eham reviews on rig repairs.

Kenwood won't touch a TS-120, there are people out there who will but it's
too old, Kenwood won't touch it. You'd have to check online, eham reviews
and what not to find someone who will. I don't even know if Avvid will touch
that one but he might if he's still going.
