Hi,

A camera tripod may well be a good bet, especially if you remove the camera attachment head thingy. I got such a thing for my Alexloop. It doesn't go up 10 feet, but it does go up at the most, 50 inches, including a center mast. I guess the legs, fully extended, put it up at least three feet. They make camera tripods that go up to about 5.5 feet. This thing, collapsed, is about 16 inches long. I *think* you could get a tripod and mast from Buddipole that both collapse to about 22 inches at most and extend in total about 10 feet, but I'd have to look. 22 inches is quite long, and you'd need a fairly large bag, but it's probably as close as you'll get.
