Hmmm, me suspects that maybe the AT&T tech changed your default modem
address. You might be able to look under your network settings and see what
the gateway address is. You might also be able to find the address by doing
the run command and typing ipconfig.

Yep, that is the right address, and each time I've tryed to open that =
web page, I get this message, "internet explorer cannot display the web =
page."
I've tryed it 6 times now.

Harry,
If you read the manual for your modem, you will see that although it =
is not=20
a router, it does have a hardware firewall. You need to open the =
modem at=20
http://www.192.168.1.254 unless they gave you a different address. =
Then,=20
click on Firewall and Settings.

Hi all,
Well, here's the latest.
I've got a gateway 1070B modem.
So, I did go to the port forwarding page at portforwarding.com, which =
is =3D
linked from the echo link web page.
and clicked on my brand, Gateway, and clicked the routers page, and =
=3D
there were just the wb series, and the wr series of routers.
So, this modem doesn't have a router.
But I feel a bit better, since I've made some progress.
