Hi,

Wow!

It's here!

I was hoping to get a sub-500 serial number, and I got a sub-400 one. Beter all the time.

I got things hooked up and the beta firmware installed. Unfortunately, either I've misunderstood the directions, or it hasn't yet been implemented for this, but the morse UI is not enabling. (The idea was hold down one of the number keys 0-6 while turning on…no go there.) And it doesn't appear that the menu is adjustable from the KX3 utility. So, back to the drawing board…

But it's here! And it's as awesome as everyone says. I reckon it could be operated handheld, but it's a big early '80's brick handheld :-)
