Try auto parts stores, Wall-Mart, and Radio Shack.

The 10 amp size will probably work okay for SSB, but may not work for
CW operation where the power output and current drain are higher
overall.

Subject: need source for 12-amp round AGC fuses

Hi, again, everyone.

This week-end, I put the Tentech Scout that I bought from the recent
estate
sale on the air. Made a 20-meter SSB contact to a special event
station in
Long Island New York. He gave me a 5 by 7, which isn't bad
considering the
maximum output power for the Scout is 50 watts.

Anyway, in looking over the Scout, I notice that it requires a 12-amp
round
AGC fuse in the positive lead of the DC power cord. I have 10 and
15-amp
fuses here, but no 12-ampers, which I believe will be hard to come by.

I certainly wouldn't want to put a 15-amp fuse in there, but could go
with a
10-amper, if needed at least in a pinch.

If anyone knows of a good source of 12-amp AGC round fuses, please let
me
know.
