It appears that Heath Educational Systems (Heathkit) has gone out of business according to an article in ARRL News.

We all hoped that the news last fall about Heathkit getting back in to the kit business would come true.

Heath did indeed produce a kit, the Garage Parking Assistant, that did go on sale late last fall.

We all hoped that further kits would come out in the near future that would be of interest to Amateur Radio operators.

It appears that Heath Educational Systems is having trouble with its creditors.

A little more detailed info can be found on the ARRL website.

By-the-way, I did purchase one of the Parking Assistant kits even though I can't use it. I just thought as a former employee of Heathkit and kit builder, I would help get the kit business started again by buying a kit.

So sad again!!
