I agree with you.  I have a vanity call sign and I didn't mind paying the 
first fee, but I just renewed my license last year and the FCC ripped me off 
for $14.20.  The only explanation that I can think of is, Another tax!

Hi all, thanks Lou, for the bulletin.  I don't mind paying for a vanity
callsign originally, but I don't understand why one should have to pay to
renew it, when it should be renewable, just as any callsign is, so whare
is the extra work?
