There is a processing chip in a cochlear implant. I've seen them cause some rfi
problems but usually in higher frequencies. Problems on 2m are not what I've
seen in the past. Also, if the problem is severe as Linda seems to indicate I
believe a system diagnostic by a cochlear implant team to be in order as this
may be an indication of internal problems with the implant.
