Hi all,
I think this topic came up a while ago, but as I wasn't interested at the time, I didn't take much notice.
Well, my apologies, as my AR - 40 has finally given up the ghost and I need an accessible replacement. The old one allowed me to set the knob to the direction I needed, then I just pushed a button and let it happen. This feature was rare at the time and may be even more rare now! Any thoughts?
Alternatively, I could go for a computer driven model which would interface with N1MM or other logging program. It would be helpful to have a similar footprint to the AR - 40, to save us having to drill more holes in the mounting plate. The fact that I was able to fit the AR - 40 onto a plate which had been used for a different rotator gives me some confidence.
Well, I look forward to hearing your suggestions.
Cheers & thanks, 73,
Terry, GM3WUX
