Never thought of the abacus hi. I list the traffic next to station holding
it and check it off with dots 2 and 3. then just count it up. I once took
EAN Christmas eve because the ncs rig broke down hi hi. That was wild.

I regularly use my perkins when I control the hit and bounce slow nets on
Thursday morning. hen I'm backup net control on the Northern VIrginia
Traffic net on 2-meters, I use an abacus to keep tabs on the numbers of
checkins and pieces of traffic.
