Gary,
You know about the 2000, if you want the extra features like Vhf/Uhf all
mode, having a sub-receiver for vhf/uhf, it is a ham shack in the box.
Those are its advantages. The pros I'm going to list below are basically
some cons for the 2000. But, I am keeping my 2000 as well, as an Hf backup
and as a primary Vhf/Uhf rig.
590 Pros:
1. Menus speak even more--spoken power level, mic gain, Processor level, as
well as a speech button to read Swr or Alc while transmitting.
2. Better receiver performance; improved DSP, hi-lo filters speak,
dual-noise blanker setting and improved notch capability.
3. Improved interface capability via USB for use with soundcards, etc.
Probably some other things I forgot.

Hi all,
I know some have either the TS-2000 and or the TS-590s radios. What are =
the PROS and CONs of these radios? Knowing that the TS-2000 has 2M/70CM =
are a added feature and the TS-590S doesn't have this. What are other =
benefits of each. Trying to decide on which radio to purchase. Thanks =
