ok eric, for now, i would stop buying any more antennas.  what you 
have should be made to work.  sounds like you have enough equipment 
to make it work as well.  how long is your balcony?  and how far does 
it stick out?  maybe we can put up a long wire that would work if you 
made it the correct length.  who knows we could even make it 
multiband.  get back, c u 73 mike
