Wasn't doubting your abilities on passing. As for your questions on
Echolink. Echolink is a easy download from their web site. It is
self-extracting once you make the download. You will need to verify
yourself to Echolink with your callsign. I believe there were 3 ways to
have the verification done. It will explain it on their web site. It is
best to read the FAQ(frequently asked questions) part of the web site before
getting active. 73 and 99 Gary KB2YAA

Thanks artie for sending this. I can't believe I did it. LOL!

That's right harbey can't get on the air till that call sign shows up in the
uls database.

Anyway; since I am typing, I don't have the radio yet. LOL! And, I can't use
my 2.4 megahertz microwave oven to transmit. Haa haa.

Below are questions:

1. could you all explain to me how to set up echo link? And if there is a
charge, what is it?

2. How do I set up the correct frequencies and whatever it takes to use
echolink?

Thank you,
