Here in the UK used Braille displays come on the market from time to time.
I have a Focus 42 which you could have for 750 USD.
As far as logging programs are concerned, I prefer DOS based ones on an old PC!
However, I have been playing around with Win-test of late, and find it very useable, especially with a Braille output.
N1mm is not too bad, however it is not easy to set up unassisted.
I have played with N3FJP and have a licensed copy of it, but find it tedious in contesting.

I don't have much experience with refreshable Braille siplays and they =
haven't come down to the point where I can afford one yet. I've got the =
n3fjp software but don't know to set it upwith all the passwords etc. =
