There are three ways this can be accomplished.
First it goes without saying that you have the required licenses necessary
to perform the install..
The easiest way is to simply copy the Win95 directory from your CD to a
Directory on a local drive. This will require hard drive space of between
35 to 80 megs depending upon the version you are installing. Then just run
setup and install. The advantage of this approach is that the install files
can remain on the local computer and as you add and remove components the
various required files and drivers will always be available in this
directory.
You can install from a shared CD ROM from a Network PC across the Network
or from a zip drive or any removable device where you have copied the
install files to.
There is a third way to setup a server to provide install files for
licensed clients. This involves creating a Win95 install directory on the
server......this essentially extracts all cab files to one directory which
clients can then access. This procedure is explained in the MS Resource Kit
help files which are available on all Win 95 CDs in the
admin\reskit\helpfile directory.
