It is not zero-carb but the *kind* of carbs that is the real health issue.
The acid/alkaline balance continues to be ignored by this list. The body
prefers a slight alkaline balance in order to be healthy.

Meats, cheeses, and most refined carbs are acid, veggies and fruit are
alkaline. For one thing, a too-acidic imbalance leaks calcium from the
bones in order to achieve the right alkaline balance. This is why it is
more about the *keeping* of calcium than adding it as a supplement that is
important.

This acid/alkaline balance is one of the reasons we need a certain amount
of fruits and veggies in addition to meat, fish etc. If people have
eccentric health problems that is another issue.
