Tom,

Just curious.  Does the 570 use the same 4 pin molex like the 480 and 
590?   I would have guessed  from the age of the radio, that it would 
use the 6 pin molex with 2 of the holes unused, but maybe not.  The 2000 
used this type and other Kenwoods going back at least as far as the 430 
eara, and other rigs as well.   If it is this type, squeeze the end 
close to the wires and the  little latch thingy will pull away from the 
radio end and  just pull the plug  off.

If it is the 4 pin type (like the 480 and 590) you already know that one 
can be a  royal pain.
