Hi Eden,
You will have to do some homework, but here are links for some of the
more popular stores:
Ham Radio Outlet has stores all over the country:
http://www.hamradio.com/
Universal radio is in Ohio:
http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/index2.html
Giga parts is down south(Alabama I think):
http://www.gigaparts.com/store.php?action=search&category=AMP-HF&type=radio&select=AMERITRO&showall=1
R and L is in Ohio, and Amateur Electronic Supply has a couple of
stores, but I don't have links handy. This should get you started.
There are other places, but these are some of the most popular.
The speech board is a roughly $60 option for these radios.
Lowest price is nice, but also count cost of options, shipping, and if
any charge to install speech board.
Don't worry if the other one is sold. There are a boatload of radios
floating around used, and all the new ones your wallet can afford.
