Hey folks.
I didn't realize there was ever a Sharp with square root. I think the first
time I saw a Sharp was in 1982, and the ones they had then didn't have a
square function. I remember the old Telesensory calculators having it.
When you pressed it though, it just said "root." I had a sighted friend who
liked to play with the one I had, and he would say "it's..." then would
press the square root key three times so it would say "root, root, root"
then he would finish it of by saying "for the home team." I know, dumb, but
I thought it was funny at the time. Anyway, take care and looking forward
to talking to you all on air in a little over a month when I take the
Technician exam

It is a small talking calculator, but it hasn't been made since 1982.
It also uses mercury batteries which I don't think are available any
more. I bought this one on line fwith the a c adapter. The main reason
I wanted it is that it has a square root key, which most talking ones
I've seen don't.
