Seems to me like I saw a site that was offering that HT here in the U. S. I
ll have to see if I can find it again

No type 90 acceptance for this yet, and no US sellers yet, but there's a =

new dual band HT, the Baofeng UV-5R. It apparently has voice =

annunciation like the Wouxun has, and now it looks like they have =

versions that speak English. Around $60 will get you one. I'm thinking =

about getting one, you know, in the interest of public service to see =

how blind accessible it is. It sounds pretty similar to the Wouxun, 128 =

channels, all the usual sorts of things.=20
