Hi Howard, thanks, I forgot to mention those factoids! GRIN! Hams who
held both novice and tech, would have 2 callsigns, one with the n and one
with the regular letter, such as WN8LDU and WB8LDU, wich was my original
call. I never had the novice, I went strait to technitian, wich was also
given by a general class operator. The good thing was, when I upgraded
to general, all I had to do, was go down to the FCC field office in
Detroit and pass the 13 WPM code test!
