Hi, all.

I really hate to do this, but I am going to have to not commit to today's
40-meter east coast mid west round table.

There are two reasons for this.

First, a few hams from our local club are going to be coming over to the
house later this afternoon to test out a new router network system they'd
like to try. It is called "the mesh network", and involves linking routers
together up in the gigahertz frequency range. They would like to use my
house as one of their test sites, to determine how far distance-wise
transmissions between routers can travel.

Second, after our little technological adventure, the XYL and I are
expecting some company, so I'll need to be available to help out with that
as I have time.

I may try to at least check into the round table around 4 p.m., if the
guests have not arrived yet, but I know I won't be able to stay long.
