Well I am not familiar with that unit.  But is is used right?  Buyer beware 
is my motto on used items.  I bought a Kenwood T M 71 A for my first unit. 
Used a cell/cigarette adptaer for the power supply and could only transmitt 
on mid power for a number of months.  I later bought a car battery to use on 
the high power, but a real power supply would be cheaper.  Anyway it had a 
speech chip available is why I choose it.  I think you have a awfully lot to 
memorize and it was nice for the frequency to be read to me.  A 2 meter rig 
only would be less money if you can get speech with it.
