power and microphone, usually Astron RS35A, the work horse, though 
there are exceptions and many of them as to preference.
I have an MC60A Kenwood microphone that works well, however the hand 
mic that comes with the radio is a very good one. Many hams like Bob 
Heil's offerings, for good reason, and again there are many 
exceptions as to preference.
