Note the following paragraph and the correction.

 

First, thanks to Pat Tice for his excellence in the way he presents the mp3
lectures. From one who is deaf, I must commend him for his clarity of speech
and emphasis on phonetics.

 

I am learning that phonetics are used a great deal as I am deaf-blind and
use cochlear implants. Thank you.
