Well here is what I have done before. I have gone to the house with a
radio. Then I introduce myself and try to decide in myself if they are
reachable. If so I talk to them about short wave radio and Amateur radio.
Then I let them hear the noise on my radio and explain when it started.
Then I ask them if I could be of help to stop the noise but not the activedy
around it. That has worked well here except for when I found a grow house.
They didn't like me at all and they got really mad at me and my Guide dog.
They got so loud that their next door neighbors called the Police. I didn't
get in trouble, but the poor people got busted because their operation was
not legal. That is the only time I have had trouble looking for noise. One
time a neighbor of mine insisted that I was causing interference on his TV
only to find that it was a controller of some kind that was connected to his
fish tank.
