Yes I agree.  There is a purpose for each list and off topic posts should be
used rarely.

I've also got a delete key, but I only have 10 fingers, and sometimes 
they get tired.   We all go off the reservation sometimes, but  some of 
this stuff goes on way too long and the dead horse is beaten to a bloody
pulp.
