The problem with the content on the samnet network is, you can't keep it. I
collect old time radio shows and want to be able to keep them. I will say I
enjoy samnet radio and the Serotalk podcasts on my Plextalk Pocket.

I thought the same about their hardware. I don't know if I would use
serotek as my exclusive access method, but I couldn't do my job with out it.
I can log in to my home computer from work, and forward my e-mail to the
system access network mailbox. This gets me around the fact that sbc global
will not let you send e-mail from a Road Runner address. You can get it but
you can't send it. If you use the free web based satogo you still can buy
and use the network.
The network I think of is being like AOL for blind folks. Lots of content
made easily accessible. Many hundreds of described movies and tv shows,
thousands of old time radio shows, weather news paper, with the ability to
make your own custom topical newspaper. Mine is called "packers" surprise
surprise. Since I bought the products, my satogo gives me my full account
and speech settings. for $129 a year its worth it. You get a 7 day demo
with satogo, so you can check it out. Their is even a ham radio section on
the network. The search function is very cool, because you can search the
Internet or by default the System access Network for content.
I just finished watch Top Gun in DVS and full stereo. That movie still
rocks!
