Ok. I give up. Maybe my diet needs another set of eyes.

I am looking for a recommendation for a registered dietician in the Cherry Hill, NJ area. I am skeptical of going to a nutritionist. That is a non-regulated field. Anyone can hang out a shingle.

I am working out like crazy every day...cardio, resistance, intervals, yoga, etc., eating low glycemic foods...very small portions, less than 1500 calories a day, MUFAs and fiber, etc. and as far as I know, I have it all down pat. But all five (up from four)of my daily meds are known for weight gain....and I am not making the progress I want.

Yes, I am down to a size 8, from a 14, and yes, my bloodwork and general fitness are really good, especially since i am turning 68, but you'd be surprised how much fat one can still have and stuff into an 8, and I am not satisfied yet.

It's those last 5-10lbs that can drive you nuts.
