Tom and Group,
I totally agree with the frequency change. I think we might be able to find
a spot around 7.191 that will work for us.
As far as the next two weeks are concerned, I most likely will be here. It
will just be mom and I so things will be pretty quiet. We have a nice
dinner, exchange a couple little gifts and that's about it. I'll be happy
to help relay or whatever.
I'm anxious to see how the new antenna performs today on 20 meters. Talk to
you all this afternoon.

Subject: Some notes on our week-end nets
Hi, all.
I have a few notes to pass along regarding our week-end nets, and would
appreciate anyone's thoughts.
First, we apparently do need to change the frequency for our 40-meter east
coast mid west blind ops round table. Even though I can't hear them, we
seem to be causing some interference for some folks down south, and they
seem to be pretty perturbed with us. Even though we could fight the battle,
suggesting that our frequencies are co-operatively shared, I'd rather not do
that. I'm proposing, then that we switch our Saturday afternoon round
table frequency to 7.190 or thereabouts. Actually, we probably should be
closer to 7.191, so as to not cause problems for those on 7.188, which I
think is used at our net time.
Secondly, We need to think about our week-end nets for the next two
week-ends--Christmas and new year. I suppose we could suspend the nets, but
we could just as well keep things open for anyone who is around, and who is
willing to take the helm on either day. Personally, I'm not quite sure of
my schedule for both week-ends yet, but I do know it is likely we will have
some holiday activities going on that will prevent me from being there
consistently.
I'd be interested in what others have to say.
Hope to hear many of you on our 20-meter cross-country blind ops net this
afternoon--14.258 upper side band at 2100 Z.
