I had a diagram once, but gave it to a friend who built the oscellator. 
Anything lives on the net for ever.
I ran a set of drake twins for 25 years, and still run a johnson valiant and 
sx-100 combination.
The valiant is modified with a voltage controled oscellator with a 
refference tone for tuning the grid, final, and adjusting the modulation.
Now who remembers what I am talking about?
