        Yup, I think you're right, John. ... I haven't done extensive 
comparisons here yet, but it does seem that when the SWR values are high 
overall, the disparity between the two meters increases, with the LDG 
usually reading considerably higher than the TS590 meter.

Again, I don't mean to be knit picky here, but I do find the difference 
interesting.  I'm not quite sure what it's telling me.

Interestingly, I have found that, with the TS590, the rig's auto-tuner will 
tune an antenna with an SWR of as much as 6 to 1.  I'm sure under those 
conditions, the antenna isn't very efficient, but it does tune.
