I'd bet, it's with higher readings it's off, and when the SWR is good, they
read closer? I noticed that back when I had an amp and just figured it had
something to do with an off SWR through the amp being seen different at the
radio, not that I had an SWR meter in the radio with speech, but a couple
times I had sighted help doing something else, antenna work, whatever and we
noticed that but with a good SWR, it didn't do that.
