IDAS is much cheaper, much more blind friendly except for the text messages 
for right now and I can't even say that for 100% sure until I get a radio 
with a display, and even icom reps say has more of a future than DStar which 
they're admittedly just trying to get rid of according to the last rep I 
talked to at a ham fest.
