Thank you for your response to my wireless problem. I did find the same info
late last night and tried all the suggestions. Alas, none of them fixed the
problem. However, the slow operation is intermittent. It may work find for a
number of hours and then slow down for the rest of the day. I am starting to
suspect that it may be caused by interference from some other wireless
device in the area. If this is the case, it would still mean that the Intel
Centrino 6230 is susceptible while other devices are not since the older
Sony Z laptop works just fine!
