A group of Palestinian scholars including prominent Lawyer Naseeb Boulos,
Waleed Al Khaldy, and others are working on the following important &
urgent subject: The plot of land that has been offered by the
Government of Israel FREE OF CHARGE to the US Government in Jerusalem in
order to build on it a HUGE US EMBASSY COMPLEX is (historically) called
ALLENBY BARRACKS. This is situated to the north of TALPIOT. The area was
called the Upper Bekaa in the years before Israeli occupation in 1948.
The mentioned scholars are trying to LOCATE a Palestinian from Jerusalem
named BESHARA HABIB (or his descendants in case he has passed away).
HABIB owns a plot of land of around 2,000 square meters WITHIN THAT AREA.
So far, they have succeeded in locating ALL THE OTHERS WHO OWN THIS LARGE
AREA with the exception of BESHARA HABIB whom they cannot locate so far.
Their ultimate aim is to do all that is possible to BLOCK the action by US
Government to build its huge embassy on this plot.
The basis for this action is that The Government of Israel IS GIVING AWAY
A PLOT OF LAND THAT BELONGS TO PALESTINIAN ARABS. They think that this
could be a WINNING CASE if properly documented and presented.
Could you help in this respect. All that is needed is to LOCATE BESHARA
HABIB (or his descendants). They will contact him and do all the work
needed.
