you'd need a ptt switch since the inline switch on a computer headset 
basically connects and breaks the actual mic line, turning the mic on and 
off, you'd need it to be separate to act as a PTT. Other than that, the 
adapter for the heil pro headsets should work for what you want. You may 
need a stereo to mono adapter but it seems to me I tried that once upon a 
time with one of those adapters to one of my radios and didn't need one.
