I don't know,I know people who program commercial radios for a living who 
say those are almost impossible to program manually without a lot of time in 
reading the manual. That's people who program commercial radios while the 
software may make it seem easier, with commercial radios there is no offset, 
you put in the receive and transmit frequency for each channel, power level 
for each channel and often much more. I can say though these programs that 
default to the 2 meter offset no matter which band you're on, I'd rather 
those make you enter the transmit frequency than change the offset for every 
band or memory channel that's not  in 2 meters.
