Hi, all.

For what it's worth, I thought I should let everyone know my situation with
regard to the Saturday afternoon 40-meter round table, and Sunday afternoon
20-meter Cross-country blind ops net for the month of June.

Basically, I will only be available sporadically, due to travel and other
commitments.

To make a long story short, here's the deal:

This week-end, I'll be camping in the RV, so will have the usual limitations
that go with that rather modest set-up.

Next week-end (i.e. June 11 and 12), I will be visiting my son and his
family in the St. Louis, MO area, so will be out of the picture completely.

The week-end of June 18--19 is still up in the air. ... If I'm home, I can
certainly participate in the nets from there, using my DXCC antenna and
Ameritron AL811H amplifier. However, it is likely that we will spend at
least part of that week-end out at the RV, which will limit my participation
once again.

Finally, as everyone knows, June 25--26 will be the ARRL Field Day, which
many of us will be actively involved in. My thinking is that we may want to
scrap the Saturday afternoon 40-meter round table for that particular
week-end, since the band will be wall to wall wit Field Day activity. I may
be around for the Sunday afternoon 20-meter net, but again, I do not know
whether I'll be at home or at the RV. Plus, like many others, I will have
been up for most of the previous 24-hours, and may be much less coherent
than I'd like to be at 4 p.m. Eastern. (grin)

Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Hopefully, if everyone chips in a
little, we can keep the nets going, even in a somewhat scaled back or
limited way, through the busy summer months.
